WOO. FINALLY.
I was scared to draw this because of the sepia tones for the longest time, simply because I've never colored like that before.
What we had to do was make a diptych (a two part painting that follows a sort of theme) picture following color theory (think monochromatic, achromatic, for those that don't know what that is. Or Google it.) Something like this immediately came to mind.
For those that don't know, Richard Mayland (the fella in the picture) is addicted to a drug called Vurve. Vurve is in the form of eyedrops. They mess with your vision and whatnot, giving you hallucinations and makes the world be made out of rich colors etc etc. (It's also kind of like ecstasy in some cases… Or meth)
(if you want me to post the whole thingy on what Vurve does, just let me know)
So I decided to draw him with an eye dropper over his head, and then have the second picture be all trippy and have that water droplet effect on the eye.
I'm pretty proud of this, I dunno it just looks cool :3 Give me a week and I'll find something wrong with it.
Fave Comment Enjoy

That eye is so gorgeous, especially the droplet and ripples!
