This actually didn't take as long as I thought it would

And I'm really, really happy with the result x3

So I saw this contest and just had to pop in and give it a shot. I mean, not only is this awesome practice, but just the thought of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp checking it out themselves just made me want to try x3

I'd also like to thank

for the tutorial on how to color digitally, since I usually struggle with that.

Wow, I love it! <33 You have an awesome gallery, so I'm sure you'll at least get chosen by dA to continue on for Burton's judgment. Love how Barnabas is pressed against the glass there, haha -- if they'd had the technology to do that in the 60's version, I somehow have a feeling they would've.

Man, I've only heard of the 60s version, but I'd love to see an episode or two since my mom watched it, and I saw pictures of it while looking for references for this picture, and it looked pretty cool!

When my mom made me watch it as a kid, I thought it was stupid/corny at first, but I got hooked almost immediately *unashamed*
